“My family is involved in many of the programs at King Street, and I am thrilled to join the board of an organization that cares for children and their families so holistically.”
Meet Chip Mason
Chip Mason is the Co-Managing Partner at Gravel & Shea, a Burlington-based law firm where he has practiced since 2003. With decades of experience in corporate law, business transactions, and organizational leadership, Chip brings valuable legal and strategic expertise to King Street Center's Board.
Chip's commitment to the Burlington community extends well beyond his professional career. He has served on the boards of local nonprofits, volunteered as a coach, and held several civic leadership roles, including as a city councilor and member of the Board of Tax Appeals and Retirement Board. He currently serves on the Airport Commission.
Since 2022, Chip has also volunteered as a Book Buddy at King Street Center, building connections with young learners through a shared love of reading. His firsthand experience with our programs brings a meaningful perspective to his new role on the Board.
“Through my experience as a Book Buddy, I have seen firsthand the incredible impact King Street Center has on the children and families in our community. I am absolutely thrilled to join the Board of Directors and look forward to contributing on a deeper level to help guide and support the Center’s vital mission.”
We are grateful to welcome Marissa and Chip into this new chapter of their involvement with King Street Center. Their combined expertise, perspectives, and commitment to our community will be valuable as we continue creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and discover what's possible.
